My Week

Hey lovelies,
Today I'm posting about everything I've loved this week! So here you go my weekly loves:

Desperate Housewives: Omgoodness. This show. I know it's over but it's on Netflix and I'm am so hooked. I guess I've been in to it for at least two weeks now and I'm almost finished the series. Like what? That be cray. I'm on the middle of season seven and Paul Young wants to buy all the houses on Wisteria Lane; Gaby is growing close to her daughter; Bree is doing her handy man; Susan is sluting it up on the Internet and Lynette is just being Lynette. It's such a good show if you love a good mystery soap and its all on Netflix! All the way to season eight!

Blogging: I've been blogging like crazy and I love it! It's like this little corner of the world that's all mine. I live being able to share my world with total strangers and the fact that someone is actually reading! At first it was slow and then the more I did it the deeper in love I fell. Now I'm trying to put a post every two days or more(:

Matching Outfits: I don't know why but I've been putting a lot more effort into what I wear. I've just been trying to loom more put together; and I adore it. You feel more confident and like you can do anything!

Eyeliner: Most days I won't bother with eyeliner, mascara usually does it for me. Recently though I've been using my gel eyeliners and I really like it. It just takes everything to another level. It makes you look finished. As though with the stroke of a brush you've put so much more effort into what you look like. I just like the way I look. Also I feel like it really brings attention to my eyes, which I really like. Sometimes I use coloured eyeliner. Purples are my favourite because they really bring out the amber in my eyes.

So, those are my four weekly loves. Now for my week in photos:
   Outfit #1
   Jeans: AmericanEagle
   Top: Forever 21

   Outfit #2
   Dress: Target
   Flip flops: Abercrombie and Fitch
   Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac

    Top: Zara
    Leggings: TNA, Aritzia
    TOMS: Aritzia
    Bag: Garage

Flowers in my front garden <3

So ya. That's my week for ya! If you liked this and want to see more, post it in the comments down below!

SUPER SALE!

Hey lovlies!
I just wanted to make a super short, no picutre post about some sales and deals in stores and online right now!

OK. So as for clothing the biggest deal I've found this week is Aritzia's 30-70% Off Sale! You guys I got the crochet cream TOMS for only 32 dollars. Like what?!?! I was in Little Burgandy earlier that day looking at them and they were 70 dollars! Like that's cray! It's not just the crochet but nearly all TOMS have some discount! Not to mention Aritzia has some clothing steals right now too!

Swimwear at Victoria's Secret is all 25% off! Even previously reduced! And if you spend 50 dollars or over you qualify for free flip flops! So if you're in need of a new bikini I would deffinatly recomend them! They do it all by bra sizing to som it's super well fitted to your body and bust.

Sephora and Benefit have recently teamed up and are going all around doing special "Benefiting" Days! Clever right? I don't think that's what it's actually called but whatever. Anyway, you buy any two products from Benefit and recive a free super adorable large make up bag and a deluxe size sample! Also for all you VIB's there's a special coupon code online and in store's! If you spend 50 dollars or more and use the code VIBSPREE at checkout you will recive three deluxe samples all from Benefit!!

Well there you have it! The 4-1-1 on all sales this week! Did you enjoy this post? If so leave it in a comment if you want to see weekly verison's of this post! Thanks for reading

Favourite Face Masques!

Hey lovelies! I adore face masques (or masks). They make a bubble bath into a spa night. A sleepover to a slumber party. A boring night into an alien photo shoot...

Hehehe...

Yup. Face masques are da bomb, but they can be confusing too. I'm going to walk you through some wearies and somethings to look for! I've loved adding pictures to my blogs so, ya. Lots of pics!

First I want to tell you about my favorite brand of face masques. Freeman. They are amazing and there is so much variety through out the brand!

Rainbow!

Facial Exfoliating Scrub
Pink Grapefruit
Exfoliates to Restore

Facial Enzyme Mask
Pineapple
Restores Radiant Skin

Facial Clay Mask
Mint and Lemon
Deep Pore Cleansing

Facial Clay Mask
Avocado and Oatmeal
Purges Pores
(super moisturizer)

Facial Peel-Off Mask
Cucumber
Clarifies and Restores Skin

Facial Anti-Stress Mask
Dead Sea Minerals
Purifies and Clears Pores

Facial Revealing Peel-Off Mask
Pomegranate and Açai
Purges and Fortifies

They offer single-use as well!!

All of these masques are super fun and gentle to the skin. They all have pleasant textures and deliver on what the promise. Not to mention they smell divine.

Next up is an awful, awful masque. It burns my eyes and dries out my skin. It feels horrible and smells so bad due to one sole ingredient!
They're the Hollywood Style Peel-Off Face Masques!

Lemon, Mint and Ginger
This one is even worse because of the mint..

The formula is super goopy and super sticky.

Papaya, Cucumber and Blackberries
This one also burns, but doesn't leave skin as irritated.

Again super goopy, sticky and glue-y.

SD alcohol 40%

So what is the mystery ingredient? The issue to our dilemma? 40% alcohol. SD alcohol. Drying, irritating alcohol. Ugh. I will never get those twenty dollars back. Oh well. At least you can be warned!

Now for a couple of my favourite masques..
No Time To Shine
Formula 10.0.6
Oil Absorbing Mud Mask
This mask is drying but in a good way. In the way you fell once you washed your face and applied you light day cream. Its really nice and cooling because of the mud and is really gentle and fragrance free.

The Fab Pore Facial Peel
Soap and Glory
Pore cleansing and revitalizing.
This is ah-mazing. It's got these cool little blue beads in it and it's super good. This stuff actually works. I love the smell, it's chemical-y but in a good way. It also is cooling on the skin. Although they recommend only putting it on your "big pore" areas (nose, forehead, chin..) I love it all over the face. This is the masque that's in my little alien picture up top!

Im sure you've heard of these. They're the Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. Though they are a little pricy, you can really see what kinda gunk is stuck in your pores and although it's kinda gross it's actually super satisfying.

A great way to get to try out some masques are by getting samples of trial size versions at your drugstore, department stores, or specialty cosmetic stores.

Right: REN Mask from Sephora
Left: Kiehl's Rare Earth Masque From Kiehl's
Both we're free with purchase. Although I'm sure that if you ask, they'll give it to you free ;)

My Favourite Eyeliners

Hey lovelies! Today I thought a short post about my favourite drugstore and high-end eye liners. I love eyeliner. I think it makes a look go from casual to glam; laid back to ready to impress; soft to hard. Yes eyeliner can deffinaltly change your look in a very few steps.

So first You should know about the three different types. Three?!? What? I thoughts there were only two! Said 63% of women! Everyone knows about pencil and liquid but a lot of people don't know about my personal preffereance: GEL! Omygoodness. Gel (or cream) eyeliner is absouloutly the best. It apply's so smoothly, so easlity and stays put all day! No smudging, yet it is super easy removal. Infact as a bonus post, there will be a blurb and picture at the bottom of two amazing 'makeup melters'. Anywho on to the liners!

Now for the 'makeup melter'. Some people love MAC Cleanse Off Oil. I prefer this. It is absolutely amazing. I was in a local beauty boutique when my friend and I were swatching thousands of eyeliners including the two NYX shown above! Anywho. Once our hands and arms were covered in eyeliner we realized that is had to come off. We were looking around for some wipes and then this little miracle caught my eye...

It is absolutely amazing at what it does. It literally melts off the make up. Water proof? Check. Dry? As if that would stop it. Clumpy? Not a problem! This is my go-to saviour for hard to remove eye makeup.
Just look at what is did to my swatches of Urban Decay's 24/7 Waterproof Liquid...
AH!

As you can see, it's amazing! Anyway I hope you found this long post helpful!

Toodlepip!
